about circular group in document properties

hello guys,

  in settings we have document properties option.in that on groups tab is there.

  groups tab also having different types one is circular group.

       how to get the name in that circular group??

   please give me the answer??

     how to write the script for that circular group??

Hey,

circular group is set of columns to be specified as a group to use them in drill up , drill down and drill acrss.

if you use a circular group as chart dimension, you can view the data with regards to the each dimension.

Probably you need a field that currently selected in the group. If so use

GetCurrentField('GroupName') function

no,i know creating circular group. just place the mouse on that circular group symbol that column name is coming.

select circular group, click on edit and select the column from the right side used fields and change label

Hi, you can write the name of the group at label, for all the fields in that group. This will give same name to all the fields in that group.

Try like this

Document Properties-> Groups-> Select the Group-> Edit-> and do renaming in Group Name text box

OR if you want to give alias to dimension click on the dimension and give the Label name below.
