about expression grammer

Hi,

Recently i found that the combination of the Variable & Expression can make lots of fantastic design on Qlikview, and i'm going to dig into how to use this combination. but i found a difficult on how to write an expression with correct grammer and no error in it( i mean errors related to grammer. )

i check the materials in hand but none of them introduce the grammer, most of them just introduce the basic functions that Qlik contains.

Could you please help me on this? Where should i to seek for the tutorials?
