aggr & max

Hi There,

I need to get the contact type of a mem no based on the max log id.

E.G. from a table list

MEM NO LOG ID CONTACT TYPE
1 12 Successful
2 13 Successful
3 14 Successful
4 15 Successful
4 16 Unuccessful

I need to get the following on a pivot chart

MEM NO CONTACT TYPE
1 Successful
2 Successful
3 Successful
4 Unuccessful

Any ideas on how to do this using Aggr or other?

Try this:

MAXSTRING((IF([LOG ID] = AGGR(NODISTINCT MAX([LOG ID]),MEMNO),[CONTACT TYPE],'-')))
