anyone receiving ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol error when trying to use Qlik ODBC Connector package version 1.2 to connect to an Oracle 12c database in QlikView

We recently upgraded our Oracle Database to to 12c. In doing this we started receiving the following error when trying to use the ODBC Connector Package in QlikView :

ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol


We did download version 1.2 of the Connector Package and are still receiving the same error. Any Suggestions??
