I have found a few threads which stated that nested containers (containers within containers) are causing issues.
Most of these threads are many months old.
When containers first came out, I had problems with nesting them and so I have been reluctant to use them again.
However, I would like to know if people are using them without issues.
Thanks,
Jp.
Hii
As per my experience Container consumes more memory hence try to use sheet hide or other technique.
Observe attached application you can use tabs to show diff. graphs at a time.
Thanks

Hi, I believe they are much better than before. I avoided them in the previous releases, but they seem to be stable now.
Although, they could be improved ( better tabs, scroll bars and so on)
Best Regards,
Erich
Hi John,
If you are using QlikView 11. This has an improvement on the Container object. The container can be used as a Grid to embed the charts. There are chances you may not need nested containers and it still serves your purpose.
thanks,

A bug related to containers was found couple of months before. When you have a container and another chart in your qvw and you are displaying them mutually then the container shows an hour glass icon on it as if it is "loading in progress". I'm not sure if a fix has been released or not. I'll try to find out the case id and will let you know about it.
Hi JP,
I'm using nested containers on 11.20 SR2 & SR3 without problems.

The case# 00186662 was opened for this issue. The issue occurs when somebody uses a container in an auto minimized mode. I think in Jul 25,2013 QlikTech released v11.2 SR3 and have this issue fixed.
I've not tested this issue in 11.2 SR3 yet but if you want then you can download SR3 and test this issue in it.
Given below is the snapshot of this issue.
