If you there is no business rule controlling the color why don't you use the Personalize Cell Format function? You have to display the grid in QlikView first and then you do a right-click -> Personalize Cell Format to change the color of certain rows or columns and you can distinguish between the cells that are headers or part of the body.

Regards.

Hi Luca,

It is possible to set color in visualcases tab. But you need to set same color for upper lower and normal values. For sure this will take a long time to apply for many tables.

I was just looking for an easier way. But I will go with tihs method.

Thanks anyway.

Kind Regards

Hi Luca,

1. Click View->Grid Design
2. Right-click on a straight or pivot table and select "Custom Format Cell"

Dear All,

I have exact the same problem. I have already tried to solve it by using the "Custom Cell Format" but it didn't work. Specifically, as you can see in the attached document, it works for the label text but not also for the background. Any ideas?

Regards,

Helen
