Hi, I am trying to create a graph that I can see the evolution 2012/2013 in some question. I am trying to build a chart like this:
Problem is, each question is a column, and I am trying to build like this and the closer I get is this:
how can I change this graph into the first one??
Julio,
Here´s your file and the final result.
I´ve done a "quick ´n dirty" example, because you don´t have a another dimension to include into that graph.
I´ve created a calculated dimension to generate your dimension (FlyEmbraer, Claims and so on). A much better approach is having this into your tables.
1) Swap the order of your dimensions
2) Into Style Tab, change to "Grouped"
Since each question is a column... which makes sense... just force the graph to be shown when there is only one question selected...
it did not work, appears all the year 2012 answers, and then the 2013 answers, what i want is for each question a 2012 and next to it the 2013 bar.
Like, this graph, "contact center" is a question about it, and then "field rep" is another question, so, what "Question" = 1 should I use there?
What Clever said should work... just place the Question field as first dimension and the Year field as second dimension. Use the "Grouped" option in Style tab.
It didn't work exactly, it says "Calculation conditions unfulfilled"
I thought that you wanted to see the comparison between two years for all the months.. so I thought the X axis had to show the Months... which in that case you should only show one question so that the chart would make sense... but I think Clever's suggestion does what you want.
Is it possible to attach your qvw?
I´ll create the graph for you
yes, it works if in the expression I have only one expression. the thing is that I have more than one. how do I create that?
