calculated Dimension

How should i write a calculated dimension if i have to display the dimension acc. to some condition?

EX:  content of table 'A' is:

   COL1            COL2                COL3

     A                    14                     18

table 'B' is:

  COL1             COL2                COL3

Now i want "COL2" as my dimension based on the condition that the data in COL3 is in between COL2 data and COL3 data.

Please help.

I'm unclear as to what you mean. Can you clarify the question a bit?

i want my dimension as col2 of yable B but on the graph, i just want to show only those values of COL2 which are in between some given values of col2 and col3 of table A.

If i understood your question, the below code may helps you.

LOAD * INLINE [

    Col1, Col2, Col3

    A, 14, 18

    A, 15, 19

];

Concatenate

LOAD *, Col2 as tempCol2;

LOAD * INLINE [

    Col1, Col2, Col3

    B, 16, 20

    B, 17, 21

];

- Take dimension as =If(Col2<>tempCol2,Col2) & Expr as Count(Col2). Please check the enclosed file for your reference.
