calculation cost with information in different table

Hi, I want to be able to calculate the cost of each project and i am facing some issues.

the first picture is the current data model and the second picture is how the table looks like.

the second table contains name of the person / name of the project they worked on / number of hours that they put in /  and date information. and the "Rate" table has information of individuals hourly rate.

What I want to do is to get a cost of each project. and I want to be able to see it weekly / monthly / and quarterly.

I want to be able to multiply the "Number of Hours" and "Hourly rate" and add them while having dimension as project name.

I hope I am explaining clearly.

I have intentionally changed the filed name to "Resource_Name" in order to avoid auto-concatenation.

Please reply to the post if anything is not clear enough.
