calculation of Moving Annual Total for different periods of time

Hi,

Just started with qv. Does anybody know how I can calculate an moving annual total for different periodes like:

- a day,

- a week,

- a month?

My problem is that some years have 365 and some other years 366 days and some years has 53 weeks and some week 52.

For example day = 22 November 2011, then I need the range of 23 November 2010 till 22 November 2011. How can I calculated this in a script?
