calendar object showing date format like 40554?

Hi,

when I try to assign a date field to calendar obejct, and select  a date from calendar object, the selected date in calendar object shows date correctly. However, when I try a variable to assign the date to a variable, and select a date, the selected date in calendar object shows like 40554. for example see below image. The first one is when there is a date field selected. The second calendar object is when we use a variable.

Can someone please suggest how to resolve this

See what is the Number properties.  Maybe you need to change whatever it is to Date format.

Hi,

Also it depend on Number format of a variable - if you set Number format to Date in a Calendar object it will display correct dates, but internally your variable can still contain a number, no a date.
