can we read the value of a variable in UI integration

Hi all,

I am currently working with a Qlikview mashup project and I got a necessity to read the variable value , when I used the Java Script I am getting the expression used by the variable rather than the evaluated value.

Any advice.

I can assure you that you can retrieve the evaluated value too if you use the right API method. I dont have the API documenation available now so I can not look it up for you.
