change colour to expression column

Does anyone know what I have to do to change the colour of my expression column?

I went to Expressions> my column > Properties > "Background colour" but it's dimmed out.

The Color() function needs an index as parameter like: Color(145).

You can use the RGB(x,y,z) function for example, or built-in functions like Red(), Yellow(), etc...

Search in QlikView help for "Color Functions", you'll get a list of what you can use.

Hi,

You mean you're not able to double click on the property "Background Color" and add your color expression ?

I double clicked it but it went to the expressions box.

I'm one step closer though.  I did find a "Colour" function - so then where is library of colour names or numbers?  I used

"=Colour(Yellow)" and got black.

Hi,

Give expression like this

=Red()

=Green()

=Yellow() or some other builtin functions.

OR

=RGB(N, N, N)  -- Replace N with a number ranging from 0 to 255.

Hope this helps you.

Regards,

Jagan.
