column width of pivot table

Hello,

I have a problem with pivot table: I drag dimension on columns and labels of expressions on rows and I want to change the width of labels, but if I change this also the width of the others columns changed. How can I increase only width of labels?

Thanks.

I'm looking for a solution to this also.  QV 11 SR2 still has this issue

I've the same problem. Any new idea or impact. I've tried with a macro (recising column) but doesn't work.

Kind regards

Adding second dimension does work - but I have noticed it does not behave as normal column width resize should.  You have to make a couple of attempts to rezise and also sometimes drag further than required to get the desired width.  It is very strange behaviour.

I think there is no workaround for this issue, unfortunately.

No, workaround does exist - add second dimension above the existing dimension as mentioned, even if it is a dummy/blank dimension.

Actually - just noticed that you also need to slect the 'Indent Mode' option on the 'Style' Properties tab.  Attaching original example as proof.

In my case I have only one dimension in pivot table which is month. So when I am trying to change the width of the measure, dimension width is also getting changed since dimension and measure are dragged and interchanged.

So issue for me is I am not able to change the width for dimension and measure separately.

Someone please help me out for the same...
