comparisons between SQL queries and QlikView queries

Hi Guys,

please provide comparisons between SQL queries and QlikView queries.

Qlikview does not have queries. If you select a value in a listbox or in a chart then the entire in-memory database will be filtered using that selection. You continuously interact directly with the entire in-memory database. Ok, that's a bit of a simplification because I'm ignoring alternate states and set analysis for now. But thus simplified, if you interact with a Qlikview document all the charts are using the same 'query' that returns all the data from a single big table.

Then you'll have to explain your question. What do you want to know? What's your definition of a qlikview query?
