Dear Community,
I have Mysql database on linux server which is on public ip.
Qlikview is running on my windows machine.
please somebody guide me how to connect mysql database from qlikview.
(procedure for creating ODBC connection on linux server).
i highly appreciated your help.
Thanks,
Mukram.
Hi Mohammed,
well, there should be ODBC connectors available for Linux - depending on which distro you have... just have a look, there's plenty of sites around with OSS for Linux.
The procedure from QlikView then is the same as for a Windows-hosted SQL database, you can use SQL in QlikView - or there's even a Wizard to both connect (create a connect_string in the script) and select data.
