converting decimal hours to days and hours

Hi,

Hoping someone can help with a formatting question.

I have a count of hours, each record in the fact table corresponds to an hour) but need to represent the count as X days Y hours.

The day is based on 8 hours as opposed to 24.

For example, the number 589 would correspond to 73 days 5 hours.

However, using interval, time, etc does not seem to return the result I'm looking for.

Any ideas??
