copy object and paste in another qvw

Hi Experts,

I am new and have opened a new QV doc

Tryng to copy a chart from an existing qvw (copy to clipboard as object) to my new QV doc it does not paste (paste from clipboard).

I tried to copy a chart from a web example and that works.

Is it possible to restrict copy / paste on objects ? I am supposed to have admin privileges.

go to object properties,In layout tab uncheck Allow copy/Clone.

in Chart properties->Layout->enable Allow copy/Clone option

This is because of restriction on that object, please see below. You can copy one object from one application to another only if "Allow Copy/Clone" option in enabled .

I found the layout tab and the Copy / clone is enabled but cant paste in another qvw
