create a log file

Hello , i have a mission to create a log file  of users who open a module by , user name , date and time  ,  hope it is possible thanks gidon

Hi,

     Using Setting---> Document Properties---> General tab ---> Generate Log file and reload the file. you will get the txt file based on your script log.

I attached a sample Image.

thanks for your  prompt response ,

what i need  is a log file  that will  accumulate all users that  log into the module ,

by user , and timestamp .

so i can track the users that log into the module ,

is it possible ?

Hi again Gidon.

The data you're after is in the Session logs.

Default location is C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\somewhere.

(do a search for session*.*)

The session log for a user is written when the session expires.

You can load this file and get what you want, or you can use the QV11SystemMonitor.qvw provided here on the community.
