data reduction for more than one field problem

Hi,

i have a section access setup for two fields. so here's an example:

USER, NTNAME, COUNTRY, CONTINENT

USER, X\A, SWEDEN, EUROPE

USER, X\B, , EUROPE

My problem is that when user X\A logs on everything works fine. But when user X\B logs on the user do not get to access the application at all. Do i need to specify all the Countries within the continent i have give the user access to?

Both fields are in the same table if that's impotant to know.

Hi Annika,

If you have "Strict Exclusion" set under Document Properties > Opening, this will be the default behavior.. i.e. deny access to user if a proper reduction can not be made.

That was my though to but if i unmark the strict exclusion, will the user se everything, hence, nothing of the sections access will have effect?
