drill down issue

Hi All,

i have 5 tables..there is no relation among those.i have to create chart with drill down.but, without any relation among the tables the drill down will not work.

Can any one tel me is there any other way to achieve it!!

cyclic drill is for unlinked data.. its function is similar to the drill down..

u need to create link if you specifically want drill down in your report.

Hi,

Drill down is for only related data like year, quarter, month, days but in cylic group you can create dimensions as per your wish it can be unrelated to one another. so, in ur situation u can better use cylic rather than drill down because you have unrelated data and there is no association between them.

you need to understand associative logic in QV design: if you want to filter your data or make selection with any of drill-down, cyclic group  - your data tables should be linked in your model.
