excel text problem

Hi ,

i have a excel file and i want to add it to qlikview  file. but in one column we have both text and number .

in the qv file shows only numbers and put '-' for text rows.

How can i show all rows text and numbers together?

     Have you used the text function while adding in to the Qlikview.

     Load

          field1,

          Text(Field2) as Field2,

     ......From datasource;

Hi,

     Check your number format in the table?if it is expression default then check the below option

     Check the default number format in Document properties-->Number tab-->Select the field-->Select the mixed option.
