Hi,

Do you want to ignore all selections or some selections or dimensions, elaborate a bit more,

but if you want to ignore all selections, use like sum({1} Sales).

if you want to ignore the dimensions then use Total Keyword.

if you want to ignore some selection then use like, sum(${<Brand=>} Sales).

it will ignore the selections only in Brand,

hope it helps, if not, then explain a bit more...

Hi,

Try like

=Sum({<DimensionName=>} MeasureName)

DimensionName=, excludes the selection in dimension.

Jagan.

Hi,

Israr, yes I want to ignore only 1 dimension.

So I tried the above expressions given by you and Jagan as

Sum({<DimensionName=>} FieldValue)

This works fine also.

But when I write any if condition in the expression, it does not work.

for eg.:

if (valuetype = 'Current Month', Sum({<DimensionName=>} FieldValue),

if (valuetype = 'Month 1', Sum({<DimensionName=>} FieldValue1) ))

The dimension whose selection I want to ignore, is also available in Pivot table as 1 of the dimension.

Not sure about your requirement. Try like:

Sum({<DimensionName=>} if (valuetype = 'Current Month', FieldValue))

If this does not help, please share your sample app.
