formating List box

Hello,

I have spend some time and this and now I need some ideas.

I am trying to format the list box below to look like image 2.

how can this be achieved? any suggestion is welcomed.

Hi,

The second image you have shared is legend. In QlikView List box and legend are two different phenomena.

It's not possible to get exact this view with a listbox but there are workarounds.

You could get quite near by using a table-chart for it but even if you could select values with it it won't have the same functionality like a listbox.

Within a listbox you could use an additionally expressions which could be displayed as gauge: Re: Faking List boxes with Straight Table.

Hi, Didier!

You also can create a straight table with "Part" dimension and a "=sum({1}1)" expression (it will ignore any selections).

Hide this expression and get on your imagination!

I mean you can:

1. Add some new columns, size them to squares and change their color by your taste;

2. Add an expression which will be shown as a picture (f.e. Display images in straight table).

and so on...

P.S.: The 2nd way makes QV report look interesting.
