help with Pivot

My requirement is  to count how many group he changed in last lets say 4 months. Sept being my most recent group. The user want to pivot  report comparing  last group( also called most recent group )with all previous groups and count him in that group

People ID	MONTH	GRP
1	jan	A
1	feb	A
1	mar	B
1	apr	B
1	may	C
1	jun	D
1	jul	D

1	sep	A
Most Recent  plan GRP
