help with available analyst counts

Hi All,

I'd like some help on achieving the following:

I want to get a count of team members available to take cases during a specified time period.  I have a list of members dating back to 12/31/2012 with their start and end dates with the team.  I want to count the members available each month (as some leave and have been added) from 12/31/2012 to present who took cases, then calculate the cases/month/person.

What would be ideal is to see the actual number of available team analysts and also the total number of analysts who are on a different team who closed more than 3 cases.

I have EMP_ID, beg date, end date, team

case_ID, closed date

The problem is I know the "analyst" number (team members) should be 32 and because members from 4 other teams helped with the load, the number is higher.
