Solved: help with dates in QV - Qlik Community

Hey everyone,

I'm new in qlikview and i have a problem that i need your help with:

I want to make a graph which shows room capacity - i have a list of people, the room that whey where in, the entrance date and their leaving date.

how can i show the room capacity in specific date, week etc.

If i have person X that enter a room 13 in 1/1/2001 and left in 3/1/2001 how can qlikview show that one person was at room 13 for two days (and also if I'll chose 1/2/2001 it will tell me that one person was in room 13 in this date)?

I have excel file which connected to the QV with ID of people (ID field), entrance date (anouther field) and leaving date (field also). can QV can show the capacity of rooms with this given fields? Did I need to make other fields in order to make it work?
