how can i display current month and year by default when report is loading

How can i display current month and year, when my report is loading

Add Select in Field actions to the OnOpen document trigger for the year and month fields to select the current year and month in those fields when the document is opened. The search strings would be something like year(today()) and month(today()).

or... is all you want a text box that displays the current year and date: ='The current month and year are ' & month(today()) & ' in ' & year(today())

... or if you're interested in the month and year of the last data load, use:
year(ReloadTime())

month(ReloadTime())
