how can i use an input box like a constant function ?

I need to put some constant function in an histogram ( like a limit of acceptation ) but I also need to change it when i select me data.

So I used an input box to creat 'limitlevel' and wrote a second expression on my histogram (i changed the type of graph to a combine one) that was just" = limitlevel ".(with fonction style selected and not bar style of course).

But when i did that nothing appear on my histogram and the histogram color and others options gone crazy a bit.

I tried to add a constant function on my dataset and multiplied it with my input variable limitlevel but it also failed.

So, have you an idea to add some constant function in a graph that can be change easily as an input box?
