how to assain inputbox result into variable?

Hello,

My scenario is, i have to display the comments entered by the user in the Text box.

and any other users can amend or modify the existing comments.

Is there any way to do this, Please help!!

Hi Siva,

As far as my understanding goes, variables can not be used in this way. I would suggest you need some way of allowing users to add comments into your main system, and then you can show the comments in a text box. It would probably be good for you to post an example of what you are doing for others to help.

Thanks for your prompt suggestions on this issue.

I used variables with input box option. I hope this is not the way as Miles Newey said.

I want to try with Gysbert's Option.

I will update you this, after implementing it.

Can we implement extension objects with personal edition?
