how to call an external macro

Hello everybody and happy new year,

I want to run macro in qlikview but the scrpit is written in an external text file?

Some one can help me to do this, thx.

Did you try using an action?

Add >> External >> Launch

With this you should be able to start the external macro.

I am using qlikview 8.5, i don't understand how can i use the launch option to run a macro writen on text file, the launch option can run only .exe programs is this true?
