how to change heading colour

Hi everyone.

I am trying to figure out how to change the background colour of my headers in my straight table. I am able to get the contents of the tables's data colours to change but just not the headings.

I tried going to the grid and right clicking on the specific cell and choosing Change Cell Format but it still did not work.

Please can you assist?

Regards,

Ashley.

Hi Ashley,

You can change the header color using the advanced styling mode.

First: go to User Preferences - Design - Defualt Styling Mode - Advanced

Enable 'Always show design menu items'

Press OK

On the chart object, go to the header and right click with the mouse.

Click on 'Custom cell format'

Choose the color you like in the 'background'

Good luck,

Eliran.

Hi Eliran!

Thank you for your troubles.

I am able to change colours on your QV file. I then created a new one from scratch and it works.

If I use the original file I have (despite making the user pref changes) it does not work.

I think perhaps I might not come right with that file but more importantly if I create a new QV file it now works.

Thank you once again.

Ashley.
