how to create CSR from qlikview server?

my client wanted to purchase a ssl cert for the qlikview server, however, requested me to created a CSR file from the qlikview server to him/client fir1st..

so, how to create that csr file?

but i am not going to use IIS on my qlikview server.  how to generate a csr without IIS?
