how to deploy qlikview dashboard on mobile?

hi guys,

can you tell me,

After we installed corresponding .jar files in mobile,how to deploy qlikview dashboard on mobile?

can i follow these approaches..

1.copy xxx.qvw file into mobile and can possible to view dashboard?

or

2.we should deploy into QlikView server and we need to connect from mobile to Qlikview server? for this

any guide lines to connect from mobile to qlikview server?

pls help us on this above subject.

Hi,
You should go for alternative 2. But upgrade to QlikView v10 SR2 berforhand to gain access to their new mobile platform - works just fine with iPad and more mobile units will be rolled out. Then you just have to use the mobile browser to surf in to your server. Make sure your QlikView documents works with Ajax. As for security - connect through VPN or HTTPS depending on your network  and security...

You need to publish (copy) the document in QV Server and using QV Mobile client (or mobile browser) connect to QV access point. You can read some helpful information on this blog http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-1287
