how to display respective quarters

HI,

i am trying to display current and previous scores for each location  in a bar chart which i have done,

expression :firstsortvalue(overall_src,-ADATE)(CURRENT )

                  firstsortvalue(overall_src,-ADATE,2) (PREVIOUS)

But my client also need respective quarter with those scores,i thought it will be easy because i got quarter field ..and i added it as second dimension ....

after adding that it is showing all the quarters for all location...

what i need is only current and pervious quarters for all location

With grouped presentation, you could only have :

• 2 dimensions and one expression
• 1 dimension and two expressions (your case)

If you add one another dimension or expression, the presentation switch automatically to stacked.

Solution:

• Create a calculated dimension to group your dimensions
  • LOCATION & ' - ' & QUARTER
• Use another presentation

i grouped them ,but that does not make differences......

That make a difference on you print screen. Before the two expressions were stacked and now there are grouped.

Yes, the result is a little bit different:

• Location is repeated 

You could play with Properties --> Axes  --> to place the label verticaly or in diagonal

i think u have miss understand my requirement  .......i need only each location with there current and previous score and there respective quarters ,

total i have 8 location =no.of bar=16 needed

                    quarters=no.of quarter=16
