how to make such a bar chart

Dears

I'm working on a bar chart that displays for each release and client , the number of defects that are detected either pre or post release

I want to reach the layout of the attached bar chart

however in QlikView the bar chart is appearing very silly

I want thick bars, and plot values inside bars

please advise

why the bars are so thin?

To get the values inside bars, try this

Chart Properties -> Expressions -> Values on Data points

Presentation -> Value on Data Points --> Plot Values inside segments

Reduce the number for Number of items exceeds on presentation tab.

to display only top 30 , Go to dimensional Limits threre you can do

and For thick bars, try to decrease the CLUSTER distance in Presentaion tab-->bar settings

you can increase bar width by increasing chart width or from presentation tab -> bar width

but i dont think bar stick (lines seperating dimension value) are possible

Hi,

Since your bars are very near to each other and width of the bars also thin so that is why values are not reflecting ,

For achieving those values enable scroll in your axix.

Chart Properties --> Enable X Axis Scroll bar section(looks enabled on seeing your a=image) -->Change When number of item exceeds value as 20 or less(based on the required)
