hi is there a way to make a particular word in a text object a hyperlink URL but the rest of the text normal.
For example i want the following text (in italics) displayed but only the word 'AccessPoint' to point to url 'http://nmh-vapps03/qlikview/index.htm'.
This report has been designed to assist the viewer in finding any particular report on QlikView AccessPoint. This report is updated regularly and provides links to the required reports.
Hopefully when the user clicks 'AccessPoint' it wil open up the url.
Thanks
Hi,
I don't think its possible to have multiple formatting with in a single text object. If your text is static, then, as a work around, you can create 3 text objects and align it next to each other.
Include the text 'This report has been designed to assist the viewer in finding any particular report on QlikView' to the first text box.
Add the text 'AccessPoint' in the second text object and add an action to open the required URL.
Add the text 'This report is updated regularly and provides links to the required reports' to the third text object.
You can do the required formatting in each of the test objects. Uncheck the 'Allow move/size' property of these text boxes and this will appear as a single text object to the end users. Hope this resolves your issue.
