gauge charts are dimensional less. it is like a scale and requires a measure to be added as an expression.

do you have sample data that you can share.

You can not select dimension in gauge chart. You can see the graphical representation of a number in a gauge chart., likewise you see a number in a text object.

We won't use dimensions in guage chart. If possible attach the sample application.
