Arrange a training for the users where it would be explained that - what your application/dashboard is all about and how to use it efficiently.

User Performance is all about to get familiar with your application which include navigation through complete apps, and how effectively they can use BI apps for bringing new insights and helping them to make decisions.

Giving demostration  & training as tresesco 

will improve the user performance. Let them go through the complete app & provide the solution of their query after navigation

Depend why they have a bad experience?

Could be down to a number of things.

Confusing UI?

Too much information per tab?

Speed of loading information?
