It's not directly possible within QV 10 to make sheets independent from selections in other sheets. You could use set analysis, lock fields and/or use actions which will be triggered by switching the sheets and which are locking or selecting various fields to gain your wanted results but it will need some efforts.
More easy would it be if you upgraded to QV 11 and used there the alternate states functionality.
