installing qv

hi, i downloaded the free qv version today , its an exe . when i double click it, i just gives me a list of MSI functions to run. nothing else.. when i run the exe through cmd nothing happens .. also when i look in the temp folder i dont see anything expanded by the exe ... total bummer!

is your download version x86 or 64?

what is your pc / laptop's operating system?? is it on Windows x86(32 bit) or Windows x64(64bit)??

Hi Guys, thanks for the response, was carried away with the sad news from Japan... yes i have win xp 32 bit, downloaded the 32 bit free version

also to wanted to mention , i have admin rights to the pc,

downloading the latest version again.. the filename is qlikviewdesktop_x86setup_eng.exe... oh also wanted to mention its the english version i selected

this qlikview x86 exe freebie install totally blows.. nothing comes out of it.. except the msi help file...
