I am tried to use interval match to combine 2 tables.
It did not worked when I tried to combine alphanumeric fields such as cost centers. It worked for numeric fields such as account numbers.
Is there any other way to combine alphanumeric fields with interval match?
Intervalmatch only works for numeric fields.
How do you want you alphanumeric fields matched? What kind of interval should your alphanumeric values - that define this interval - span (i.e. if your limits are A and B, what values should be generated for your interval?)?
I have one table with account ,cost center ,value and date , another table account range, cost center range, row, market .
I need to have value total by row and market. You can see data below tables.
If needed there are two more tables one for all valid accounts , second for all valid cost centers.
Cost centers are like C100, C120,D100,D200...
row |
account | cost center | amount | period | year |
111 | C100 | 100 | 1 | 2013 |
112 | C110 | 200 | 1 | 2013 |
114 | C200 | 300 | 1 | 2013 |
115 | D200 | 200 | 2 | 2013 |
200 | F210 | 200 | 2 | 2013 |
