QV Server will allow you to schedule reloads against your QVW, and chain tasks so a reload will start after another completes. With server only, you can only have one reload task for each application, with publisher you can have multiple tasks and different tasks for reloads, distribution, and loop/reduce tasks. Publisher also adds more security options.
