issue with mfc206.tmp

Hi ,

When i saving the  qvw file making some changes  i will  find mfc206.tmp at the location of the actual qvw file.

can some one explain me what this  MFC205.tmp..

is this due to large size of the the qvw  or memory on the desktop is running short ???

, my qvw file is 228 MB ...or something else

This is a temporary file that creates while QlikView is compressing and saving your application.

It is supposed to be removed automatically, but sometimes this fails.

The filename will be different every time.

with the temporary file there will be any performance issue to the actual application..

or just it should be ignored..

No, it's just a file, you can remove it manually. I usually set up a job removing all .tmp-files. 

Happens maby 4-5 times a year with daily loads.
