issue with straight table... need help please

hi all,

I have a weird issue with a straight table calculation.This was already developed and I am unabe to understand regarding a particular calculation.If you see my attached file,there is a table in it which has the first row under Ship Name column."Average per month".I am not able to understand how this is calculated??? I cannot find any of its relation in expressions/dimension. my script is not complete in the attachment as I cant share the complete of it.Is this calculation happening in script level or chart level,please can someone help me???

I found the solution its happening from expression tab itself.in total mode...

Can you post qvw with less data or post your dimension and expr with sample data

That is 'Total' - row label. Goto presentation tab->Totals...

thanks!!!

but if you check in table "A",

The 1st column (Budget Avg per Ship)

  value across "average per month"= the average of the 3 values in that column and not the total.

but in the 2nd column(Budget Avg) its just the total shown=

so how is this differentiation done??? where has the formula being executed please can you help me out....??? table B also has the same but the values are not matching

Hi Sahana,

If you see the Total Mode in expression tab, for first expression it is Avg where as second exp has Sum. I hope you need this differentiation.
