Hi Experts ,
I have a requirement where we are using the Export option in every Table , while we are Exporting to Excel it is taking table ID as the name of the Excel file with date and timestamp...
ex: am Exporting a table box its object ID is TB01 , after exporting to excel we are getting the table name of excel as TB01_20151211_181155...
but we want the excel table name in a different format , is this Qlikview default setting or any option or plans to customize this...
please let me know if you people get any idea about this , please find the attached image to get the clear idea about the issue..
thanks in advance...
Best Regards
D
This seems to be a default QlikView method of naming the files (ObjectID_YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.xls) You can change the Object ID by Object Properties > General > Object ID. Another way would be to create a macro button to export to excel, but the excel icon on the table will not export with a custom name.
You can change the name of the table . When you export it carries the name of the Object ID which QlikView will assign a default to. You can change this in Object Properties > General > Object ID.
Just change the details as per your requirement
Thanks,
