- Bar chart

- Pie Chart

- Line chart

you can always select if you display legend or not

i like to display legend if there is more than one measures or more than one dimension in the chart

It appears that only these require a "legend", in the sense that they always show the field values for the dimensions. I found out by just going through all the chart types and seeing if the legend was optional.

• Pivot Table
• Straight Table
