hi
i am new to Qlikview can anyone help me please and mention the limitations of each chart
Hi Kranthi
I'm not sure if I understood your question.
What exactly you want to know?
Márcio
if you mean the number of dimensions
From Qlikview Reference Manual (version 11), Chart Properties:: Dimensions
A chart can display one or more dimensions. The upper limit depends on the actual chart type, the complexity
of the data and the available memory. Pie, line and scatter charts can display a maximum of two
dimensions, bar, block and grid charts three. Radar charts can only display a single dimension, and gauge
charts use no dimensions at all. A funnel chart typically has one to three dimensions. Further dimensions are
ignored.
When you open the desktop there is a 'data visualization' sample that will give some pointers on which chart to use for different scenarios.
As someone who has made ridiculous sums of money that you could never make with qlikview, the answer is quite simple.
Right click your chart, select properties, and go the the "Caption" tab.
Towards the bottom left you will see width and height for your chart and also x,y position.
Saludos, Enrico Suave.
