link table to master calender based on start en end-date

We have a table containing employee number and start- and enddate.

Now I want to join that table with a mastercalender containing all calenderdates, monthname,q, and a self defined period

Do I have to make a table with a row for every employeenumber, date,etc. etc ? or is there a simplier way
