loading from a text file vs loading from excel file

I have a file about 13,000 rows that is a data dump through SAP.

I try to load this file into qlikview and it loads only 7000 lines. When i open the text file using execl and save it as excel file and load it loads all 13000 lines.

I am very confused why this would happen since I am trying to automate daily load through text files for this.

Hi Kiran,
check if the file contains some strange character (like Escape hex 27 for example ) in the record where QV stop to load data.
QV ver 9 have a specific flag that "ignore" end of file characters for this kind of problems, but if you're using previous versione, the only way i've found is to substitute all strage characters before loda data in QV.
